OWL, half scale sculpture

I was requested to do a smaller version of my Owl by a potential client. I decided to do one half scale and keep track of the labor and materials. Even though it is only half scale, the labor and surface area was one quarter of the full size Owl. It looked really great inside my house on the dining table. We agreed on the price and I posted on Facebook, and immediately got another commission to do a second one. I will do a series of these half scale owls, each one having a different personality. Being fabricated by hand with variations makes the difference where no two will look the same (like what happens when casting in a mold). When used inside the home the Owl has the feeling of the larger one outside. They can be used everywhere, fabricated from forged and welded stainless steel. I will post each variation as I make them, Owl I, Owl II, etc. Here is Owl II just completed in this video.
